Sculpting in Clay Course
This course introduces the fundamentals of modelling sculpture, guiding you through form, proportion, and expressive three-dimensional design. Whether you’re new to sculpture and clay, or looking to expand your skills, you’ll gain hands-on experience and build confidence in your artistic abilities.
Through a combination of guided practice and experimentation, you’ll explore both modelling additive techniques, learning to create balanced, dynamic forms with attention to surface detail and texture. You’ll also master the essential steps to prepare your sculptures for firing, ensuring your finished pieces are kiln-ready and structurally sound.
By the end of the course, you’ll have a deeper understanding of how to shape, refine, and finish clay sculptures.

Mode of Study: Once weekly (2 hours for each lesson)
Duration: 10 Lessons
Location: Art Academy Mosta (131 Constitution Street, Mosta, Malta)
Requirements: Ages 16+, Students must bring their own art materials and tools
