Resin & Pouring Art Demo & Workshop with Jackie Micallef

Join us for an inspiring Resin & Acrylic Pouring Live Demonstration and Workshop, designed to introduce you to the creative possibilities of both resin art and acrylic pouring techniques.

Led by local artist Jackie Micallef, this 3-hour session is divided into two parts.
During the first two hours, Jackie will demonstrate a variety of resin and acrylic pouring techniques, sharing practical tips, best practices, and creative insights to help you understand how to achieve successful results and avoid common pitfalls.

In the final hour, participants will take part in a hands-on pouring session, where each attendee will create their own acrylic pouring artwork under guidance. All materials and supplies will be provided, so you can simply focus on experimenting and enjoying the process.

What will be covered:

• Resin and its use on different substrates, including wood panels, canvas, and silicone moulds

• Acrylic pouring techniques and materials, including cell creation

• Creating functional art such as coasters and bookmarks

• Working with fluid and powdered pigments

• Using alcohol inks with resin

• Enhancing artworks with acrylic markers
