Take part in our Pottery & Ceramic Glazing Open Course - designed for all ability levels. Whether you’re picking up clay for the first time or you already have experience and want to refine your skills, this class offers a relaxed, supportive environment with individual guidance throughout your creative journey.

What You'll Experience:

  • Individualised support: Our experienced instructor will be available during every session to help you at your own pace—from your first clay pinch to glazing finer details.

  • Flexible project choice: Choose what you want to work on—whether you’re experimenting with hand-building, practising on the wheel, or exploring glazing techniques. You decide the project, and we guide you. For beginners you will be taught the basic techniques to get you going.

  • Progress at your pace: Beginners will receive foundational guidance, while more experienced students can venture deeper into advanced techniques—all within the same class.

  • Creative community: Join a friendly group of like-minded makers of different abilities. Exchange ideas, gain inspiration, and enjoy a collaborative studio vibe.

  • Sense of achievement: Leave each week having made visible progress—whether it’s mastering a new technique, finishing a piece, or refining your style.

Students will need to bring their own pottery supplies, including clay and tools. Kiln firing service fees are not included in the price. Refer below for prices.

Course Details

  • Duration: 10 Lessons (2 hours each)

  • Location:Art Academy Nadur Gozo (Triq Agius de Soldanis)

  • What’s Included: Access to a throwing wheel, rolling pins, wood panel, hands-on teaching, individual attention.

  • Requirements: Students will need to bring their own pottery supplies. Kiln firing are not included in the price and need to be purchased seperately. Firing fee is based on the weight per 100g: Low-fire bisque firing 100g = €0.70, Low-fire glaze firing 100g = €1.40

  • Certification: Upon attendance of 80% of the Course, students will be awarded with a Certificate of Attendance

  • Language: English
