What’s Included:
Plate Bisque: Each participant will receive a pre-fired ceramic plate bisque, which is ideal for painting. Bisque is unglazed, fully hardened pottery that absorbs glaze beautifully, ensuring vibrant colours and a smooth finish once fired in the kiln.
Glazes: You’ll have access to a variety of colourful, food-safe glazes. Our glazes are designed for both beauty and functionality.
Functional Plate: By using bisque and food-safe glazes, and with the kiln firing process, your ceramic plate will be functional, meaning it can be used for food and is dishwasher-safe!
Fully Guided Session: Our workshop is fully guided by a professional artist, who will help you bring your ideas to life! Whether you need inspiration or assistance with techniques, the artist will be there to guide you every step of the way.
Tools & Materials: All materials and tools are provided, including glazes, brushes, palettes, and aprons to keep you comfortable while you work.
Kiln Firing: After the workshop, we’ll fire your plate in a kiln and the finished plate will be ready for collection a few weeks later.
Duration: 2.5 hours
